 Pride Month Recap

As we come to the end of pride month we wanted to look back at what we’ve done to celebrate and mark the month. Pride to us is not just to be celebrated one month of the year, Pride is everyday and we will continue to strive to create a workplace that celebrates diversity and creates a space where everyone feels free to be their authentic selves.

We kickstarted the month with expert insights into the history of Pride and the LGBTQIA+ community with an educational webinar. We’d like to give a massive thank you to Roland Chesters and the Employers Network for Equality & Inclusion (ENEI) for taking the time to talk to us.

Next, we handed over to the LGBTQIA+ members of our team and provided them with a platform to tell their personal stories and answer any questions our teams had. We’re proud to see so many of our colleagues get involved and take the time to listen, learn and share stories. Again a massive thank you to Liam Tennant for leading the panel and our full colleague panel.

Lastly, to celebrate Pride across all of our offices, up and down the UK, we sent out Pride packs to our teams to decorate their offices with the pride flag, bunting, tattoos and wristbands. For the final week of Pride, we encouraged our teams to show their colourful sides, to choose colourful clothes, accessories, makeup or shoes, to see all the colours of the rainbow across our business, raise awareness and fundraise for suggested LGBTQIA+ charities.

We’re extremely proud to have seen our colleagues come together to educate, share or just learn something new this month. Supporting diversity and inclusion is a key focus for our business and we will continue to share our initiatives and strategies to create a more diverse and inclusive workspace.
